Overview

As our Studio Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our class schedule and teacher roster, workshops, events, internal training and development sessions and our Yoga Teacher Training program. You will be required to follow and improve the functionality of our HR processes. A core component of this role is communication and leadership. You will need to have a clear understanding of our daily operations and keep our team aware of day-to-day changes. All studio managers engage directly with our clients in a front of house capacity.

This is a rare and amazing position to be a part of a small but full-of-heart community. We're looking for a hard-working, dedicated Studio Coordinator to help out with anything and everything around our studio, no matter how humbling. It will include customer service, administration, keeping the studio clean and tidy and assisting the studio owner, Emma, with all the bits and bobs that come with running a studio. You'll physically work in the studio from 9am-5pm 2 weekdays per week. Some days working alongside Emma and other days flying solo. So we're looking for both a team player and an autonomous alpaca here! As we're a start-up with lots to do, you can expect a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the right amount of fund and zen.

Why You Should Apply

  • We respect and support our teachers and employee's need for purpose, growth, satisfaction, leadership and effective communication. So you'll have the opportunity to progress to a full-time position or other positions.

  • You will be working in our brand new, spacious, light and airy modern yoga studio situated 2 min walk to the beach. This means after work ocean swims (or before if you're into the mermaid look);

  • The work you'll do is centred around yoga so, we're all about cultivating a grounded, balanced, stress-free, positive, and inclusive work environment;

  • We're a yoga studio, not a corporate office. So we encourage you to wear whatever it is you feel most comfortable in - jeans, overalls, activewear! Whatever floats your boat;

  • Expect to always be treated with compassion, kindness, respect and to have your ideas well heard.
