Meet your team of Yoga Teacher Trainers!

Choosing the right teacher training can be toughhhh, especially when it's your first one and you aren't really sure what you should even be looking for.

We know from personal experience - and consistent feedback from our graduates - how incredibly important it is to resonate and feel aligned with the teacher(s) you will be studying under. So, we thought we would introduce you to the epic team of humans that make up our Yoga Teacher Training Team here on the Gold Coast, Australia! Each are experts in their field, with thousands of hours of training, practice, study and experience under their belt. And more than that? They are BEYOND passionate about sharing this expertise (and love!) with you.

Read on to meet Yogaventures Founder + Lead Teacher Trainer, Emma Ceolin, and the beautiful group of bright and brilliant women hand-picked to contribute to your yoga training and education.

Emma is a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Mama, proud indigenous Australian and founder of Yogaventures. She's also an avid freediver, surfer, scuba diver and skydiver! Emma first found yoga in 2013 as a therapy for her own anxiety and depression. It changed her life forever.

After graduating from a QUT Business degree and undergoing extensive hours of yoga training, she left her corporate role to share yoga. Today she is an Experienced Yoga Teacher (ERYT® 500), Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT®), Registered Childrens Yoga Teacher (RCYT®), Yoga Teacher Trainer (RYS® 200 + YACEP®) and specialises in beginner yoga and yoga for the therapeutic benefits. She has travelled teaching workshops, retreats and teacher trainings across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the United States. Then In 2020, with a lil yogi-bub on the way, she decided to ease back from travel and open the dreamy Yogaventures Coolangatta studio that is now home to a busy schedule of classes, workshops, events, and teacher trainings.

Educating, training and supporting new teachers is her absolute FAVOURITE way to share yoga with the world. With her extensive background in business, Emma includes specialised and highly-relevant modules like The Business of Yoga and Mindful Marketing into her trainings, giving so many aspiring teachers the exact tools they need to succeed as a teacher from the day they graduate.

Yoga introduced Iveta to a better understanding of the mind-body complex and its place in the universe itself. She believes Yoga brings us back to our natural state of equanimity, from which we can experience a deep sense of peace and contentment. With an extensive 1000 hours of yoga teacher trainings, Iveta has studied with some of Yoga's most influential teachers all around the world, including Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. Robert Svoboda, Mark Roberds, Deepika Metha, Simon Borg- Oliver, Gregor Maehle, Monica Gauci, and Doreena Scale. With so much training in and experience with the magic of meditation and breath work, she is passionate about sharing these modules with the yoga community so that they too can experience and understand the deeply healing effects in both our physical and energetic bodies.

In 2015, Annabel completed her 500hr under Katrina Guthrie at Shades of Yoga. She since trained with Duncan Peak, Power Living, Tara Judelle and Dr Scott Lyons, Embodied Flow, Hugh Lee and currently studying with Judith Lasater, (Ph.D.,PT) whilst also completing a degree in Osteopathy.

Not a fan of biology? One day with Annabel and we guarantee you will be. She has a boundless curiosity for the body and the practice, and her enthusiasm for exploring and understanding how it all works is infectious! Dance, sing, mime and laugh your way through our applied anatomy and physiology modules BEFORE (and this is key) you start learning about the yoga asana, so that you have a thorough understanding of the mechanics before we start putting it into practice!

Jacqui is an experienced yoga + meditation teacher, kirtan and women’s circle facilitator, and qualified Transpersonal Counsellor. Her introduction to yoga came at a time she was least expecting. After many years of emotional distress and high anxiety, she was exposed to yoga as a means of alternative healing. Contrary to the perception of highly competitive acrobatics as depicted on social media, she was offered an avenue of self-exploration, deep inner peace and for the first time in her life, self-acceptance and the feeling of returning home in her own body and mind. She has since then endeavoured to cater her yoga offerings to ANY body who may benefit. She weaves themes of empowerment, self-acceptance and self-compassion into her teachings, and is passionate about music, mantra and meditation as medicine.

Jacqui leads two extremely powerful and life-changing (yep, we went there) modules in our teacher training: Finding Your Voice and Teaching From The Heart. She supports you as you delve into the language of yoga, compassionate communication, self-expression, honouring your unique value and cultivating the courage and confidence to share your gift with the world.

Leanne is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™, Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner, and highly qualified Yoga Instructor + Continuing Education Practitioner (YACEP® + E-RYT®500). Passionate about health and more importantly, balance, she creates realistic solutions for optimal living. Leanne educates her clients on the importance of nourishing whole foods, to balance stress issues, skin problems, weight-loss, digestive issues, and sleep problems, to name a few. Ultimately, she believes that with proper care, the organs can strengthen, naturally. She values the different views in nutritional science, and believes each individual has a different path to reach optimal health.

Leanne is also a dedicated yoga practitioner and registered provider of continuing education with Yoga Alliance. She is incredibly knowledgeable and well-studied in Yoga Humanities, Philosophy and Ethics, which she explores in depth with our 200HR trainees in a way that encourages independent thinking, collaborative discussion and personal reflection.

Enrolments are closing soon for our last 200HR Yoga Teacher Training of the year! We still have two spots available, so if you are wanting to finish 2020 on a high and go into the new year feeling positive, empowered and aligned, click here and book your spot today.
