Studio Coordinator + Yoga Teacher
Maddy's lifelong passion for travel, holistic health, movement, psychology and personal growth eventually lead her to discover (or re-discover) yoga and meditation. She had tried a few classes over the years, but could never understand how anyone would find contorting their body into random pretzel shapes a genuinely relaxing experience. It wasn't until 2018, after graduating from a Business + Psychology degree and enduring a deeply traumatic and chaotic year, that she decided to give yoga another try - and finally got it. The practice shifted from being one she understood in theory ("nice idea, but not for me!"), to one she resonated with as a powerful tool for self-awareness, understanding and connection.
Later that year, Maddy flew to Costa Rica to study under internationally renowned yoga + wellness expert, Dr Liz Lindh, before returning home to Hamilton Island and continue her own journey of personal growth and spiritual evolution. Working and teaching full-time at the gym, she created and facilitated yoga workshops for staff, hosted recovery sessions for athletes competing in the Endurance Series events, and was even requested to teach for the Prince and Princess of Saudi Arabia. Now on the Gold Coast, she works with brands like F45 and Goodlife to deliver athlete recovery and mobility programs, and continues to explore her passion for movement as healing. Her vision is to create yoga experience that liberates practitioners from the confines of their mind, encourages heart and body connection, and releases fear, doubt and self-consciousness in favour of courage, empowerment and joy.
