OUR GORGEOUS STUDIO
Welcome to our stunning light-filled, airy haven in the heart of Coolangatta. Expect a space that is welcoming, open, and thoughtfully designed to create the most beautiful, sensory experience for your session. Walk up the stairs and enter our spacious lounge full of comfortable seating, bean bags and cushions, which connects to two large purpose-built studio rooms. Sample our delicious selection of herbal fruity teas or try an assortment of calming essential oils before class. We've created a cool, breezy space that is environmentally-friendly (even our flooring is made from recycled plastic) and features minimalistic beach-luxe decor, lots of gorgeous natural light, a series of dreamy textured linen curtains, the highest quality yoga props possible, and tons of lush greenery to calm and elevate the senses. A true expression of both Coolangatta's coastal boho vibes, laid-back feels and the Yogaventures eco-wellness brand.
We're more than just a yoga studio — we're a family. It's our intention to create a beautiful and loving community that feels just like home. Here at Yogaventures, we believe yoga is for EVERY body — new bodies, older bodies, injured bodies, sore bodies, tired bodies, curvy bodies, mamas-to-be, experienced yogis, and everyone in between. We embrace all levels of fitness, body shapes and ages. We're all about friendly, accessible yoga and strive to create a welcoming, open space where every single one of our clients feel comfortable exactly as they are. GOOD TO KNOW
Booking via Mindbody Website or Mindbody App is essential. It makes showing up to the studio a seamless process so our teachers can focus on yoga and pilates, not administration. Plus it secures your spot as our classes book out. Bookings will not be accepted by phone, email, social media or any other method than MindBody.
MAT HIRE $2
Our mat hire is $2 per class (free for our Members). We offer extra grip, high-quality, eco-luxe Mndfl Mats that are either made from 100% renewable cork or recycled plastic bottles (microfibre). A gentle reminder that we're a cashless studio.
We're located at Level 1, 40 Griffith St Coolangatta Q 4225 in the Karingal Place building. Pass 'Koffee at Tiffanys' and head up the stairs. You can't miss us!
We have plenty of free street parking nearby. You can park at the front entrance on Griffith St (1hr) but our recommendation is to park by our rear entrance at Chalk St (2hr or unlimited parking).
WHEN TO ARRIVE
Please arrive 5-15 mins before class so you have time to check-in at reception, set up your mat and props, and chat with your teacher if you need. Our doors open 15 mins prior to class and close when class begins. Late entries are not permitted.
Though we love kids, we are not a childcare and do not offer childminding. Please be mindful that children are not permitted to wait in the studio while you practice due to safety and legal issues. Children of at least 16 years can attend a regular yoga class under concession pricing with a parent/guardian. We also offer kids yoga so parents can practice yoga across the hall without distraction.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring water, a towel and sweater if you're attending a gentle cooling class. We offer mat hire for $2 (free for our Members) or bring your own mat. A gentle reminder that we're a cashless studio.
You’ll find all the little extras we pride ourselves on — high-quality eco-luxe Mndfl Mats, renewable cork props, organic cotton bolsters, organic cotton straps, organic lavender eye pillows and all the goodies to keep you safe and supported.
LATE FOR CLASS
Please arrive no earlier than 15 mins before your class start time no later than 5 mins prior to the class. Late entry will not be possible as missing the warm-up can increase the risk of injury and disrupt other students. When our classes start, the front door will also be locked to protect all student belongings.
WHAT TO WEAR
We recommend wearing something comfortable that you can move in. This could be loose-fitted, tight-fitted, long, or short. If you are attending an active class, we recommend wearing something that you would wear on a jog on a warm day. If you are attending a slower-paced class, we recommend something loose-fitting and with a few more layers in-case it gets cool.
INJURIES + AILMENTS
If you are new, have a special circumstance, injury or ailment please let your teacher know before class begins. Even if you've let them know before, it's best to let them know how you're feeling on that particular day so they can offer you the most supportive environment possible.
We believe in disconnecting to reconnect. Please ensure your phone is left in reception area and is either off or on silent with no vibration. PNo phones in the yoga room. Allow your self this time to digitally detox. Please ask at reception for a phone charger if you require one.
We're a cashless studio and accept credit or debit card only. Here's why:
