YOGA FOR YOUR BODY
Just starting out on your yoga journey? Unsure what the heck the teacher means when they tell you to flip your dog or breathe into your heart? Don’t worry, we got you.
Join Maddy Edwards for this two-hour beginner workshop, specifically designed to get you familiar with the foundations of a physical yoga practice. We’ll spend an hour or so breaking down the most commonly taught yoga poses, and helping you find the correct alignment for YOUR body so that it feels good for YOU – that’s the whole point of this thing, right? Then, we’ll put it all together in a gentle and uncomplicated flow, so that you can apply what we’ve just learned and understand how to transition between each pose with ease and grace.
You don’t need any yoga experience or know-how whatsoever, just an open mind and a willingness to learn. Maddy believes yoga should be fun and that getting to know yourself a little better doesn’t always have to be such a serious endeavour! Expect a warm welcome, some awkward jokes, a whole lot of laughter and abundant support, as you explore the fundamentals of yoga and see what your body can do. By the time you leave the studio, you’ll have the confidence to walk into any yoga class and start building a regular practice.
